On Thursday you can also vote for John Crofts as the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk.
Urban. Rural. Everyone deserves to feel safe and protected in their own home and community
Despite strong Conservative rhetoric, decades of police cuts have left our communities vulnerable to increasing crime. We believe actions speak louder than words and if elected we will:
Restore on-street police visibility
By securing more funding for Police Community Support offices and increasing police patrols to ensure you feel safe and secure, as you should, in the heart of your community
Secure fairer police funding
By pushing the government to level the playing field and ensure Norfolk gets its fair share of national funding to address the crime concerns that are unique to rural communities.
Clamp down on road crime
By tackling speeding head on with increased roadside speed monitoring in an effort to keep families across Norfolk safe. Implementing a zero tolerance approach to dangerous driving.
Important
PCCs are elected using the Supplementary Vote system. You make a first and second choice when you vote.
If no candidate gets more than 50% of the first choice votes, all except the top 2 candidates are eliminated. If your first choice candidate is eliminated, and your second choice is for one of the top 2, your second choice is counted.
You DO NOT have to make a second choice unless you wish to do so.
